Summary
Shannon Waller of Main Street Wooster recognized Wooster Glass Vice President Pat Neyhart for his service on the Main Street Board.
Main Street Wooster Executive Director Shannon Waller recognized several trustees who were leaving the board, including Wooster Glass Vice President Pat Neyhart, at the organization’s annual meeting at the Best Western Plus in downtown Wooster Wednesday night.
“Pat Neyhart is a force of nature, and he has just been a source of never-ending energy and ideas and encouragement,” Waller said. “It’s just not going to be the same organization without him. He was chair of my board of trustees prior to Chris Pycraft, and he attended every single committee meeting that we had.”
Waller commended Neyhart for his investment of time into Main Street Wooster. Neyhart served for two three-year terms and remained on the board for another year.
“We were so lucky to have him,” she added. “We will very much miss him.”
Waller also recognized Mayor Bob Breneman, Christopher Buehler, and Luke Martin, who all have wrapped up their terms on the Main Street Wooster Board.
Community service was very important to Wooster Glass Founder Ralph Jones. He said if the community has been good to you, you need to be good to the community. This principle established by Jones has been continued by President Kathy Long, the daughter of Ralph and Grace Jones, Vice President Pat Neyhart, and the rest of the team at Wooster Glass.
